So, it turns out October is a really f*cking busy month for drummers… 

First up, we are preparing ourselves to start a new Pro Training course and we’re kicking off in just under 2 weeks.

17 years ago Dirk decided to create a course that he wished he would have studied on himself. All the skills you need to become a Pro Drummer in just 12 months. 

All of us have sat in lectures, classes, and meetings that we knew were a waste of time but we had to be there anyway. So, as all smart and efficient Germans do, we created a course that condensed the most important techniques, styles, and grooves into one year of intense study.

You might not become a pro in 12 months but you will have everything you need to get there. Not only the drumming skills but also the network, a university certification, and a chance to get paid work in our marching band.

Our course is open to everyone of all backgrounds and all ages. All you need is a passion for drumming and a determination to get better.

Germany’s HipHop Elite Drummer: Joe Styppa 

As part of his clinic tour across Germany, Joe Styppa will be stopping by our school in Berlin to give a clinic on musicality and artistry. Joe has a defined, signature voice on the drums and he will be giving a clinic showcasing how each and every drummer can refine their own.

Joe is a drummer, producer, songwriter and musical director from the south of Germany and this man can do it all. He is a seasoned clinician and has worked with a range of incredible artists like Bausa, Azet, Zuna, Cro and Cassandra Steen.

For about the same price as a döner, you can study with an incredible drummer and get inspired to play the drums. Tickets are only €10 and the clinic will take place at ORWOhaus at 19:00 on the 6th of October.

37th International Drummer Meeting Salzgitter

Im Oktober ist es wieder soweit: Das 37. International Drummer Meeting steht vor der Tür! Vom 3. bis 5. Oktober 2025 verwandelt sich die Kulturscheune in Salzgitter-Lebenstedt wieder in einen Hotspot für alle, die Rhythmus im Blut haben.

Dich erwarten drei Tage voller Beats, Education und Live-Energie, mit Masterclasses von nationalen und internationalen Top-Dozenten. Die Plätze sind limitiert für maximalen Lernerfolg in persönlicher Atmosphäre.
